Summary
Reporting to the Business Development Manager, you will support the delivery of marketing activities across a range of channels, helping to promote apprenticeship and training programmes.
- Wage: £14,560 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age
- National Minimum Wage rate for apprentices
- Training course: Multi-channel marketer (level 3)
- Hours: Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 4.30pm and Friday 8.30am - 4.00pm. 35 hours a week

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
- Provide excellent customer service and support to learners, employers and stakeholders via telephone, email and online enquiries.
- Support the planning, creation and delivery of marketing campaigns across a range of digital and traditional channels.
- Create engaging content for social media platforms, websites, blogs, email marketing campaigns and promotional materials.
- Assist with maintaining and updating the company website, ensuring content is accurate, relevant and optimised for search engines (SEO).
- Support the promotion of apprenticeship and training programmes through a variety of marketing activities.
- Assist with creating image, video and written content for marketing and communications purposes.
- Support the delivery of social media campaigns and help increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance, website analytics, SEO rankings and social media activity.
- Conduct market research and gather data to support marketing projects and business objectives.
- Attend events, exhibitions and networking opportunities to promote the company and its services.
- Assist with the creation of marketing materials, case studies, testimonials and learner success stories.
- Maintain accurate marketing records, systems and tracking documents.
- Respond to website, social media and marketing enquiries and direct them to the appropriate department where required.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the business to support company objectives and customer satisfaction.
- Attend team meetings and contribute ideas, feedback and recommendations for future marketing activities.
- Keep up to date with digital marketing trends, tools and best practice.

Training
Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills.

What you'll learn
- Develop or interpret briefs for external or internal stakeholders and measure delivery in-line with the specification and agreed timelines
- Plan and coordinate a marketing activity using marketing tactics to acquire and retain one or more customer segments using available resources
- Contribute to the generation of innovative and creative approaches across video, images, and other formats, both online and offline, to support campaign development
- Use research/survey software to gather audience insight and/or evaluation to support the project
- Use copywriting techniques to write persuasive text/copy to meet a communications objective ensuring it is in-line with organisational brand guidelines
- Build and implement multi-channel campaigns across a variety of platforms, either offline or digital media
- Proofread marketing copy ensuring it is accurate, persuasive and is on brand
- Use software to design and create marketing assets to meet the technical specification
- Contribute to the research of external suppliers to support recommendations and procurement of marketing goods and services
- Organise offline and digital assets ensuring they are co-ordinated and legally compliant
- Use a content management system to publish text, images, and video/animated content
- Create and maintain spreadsheets to support marketing activities such as project/budget planning and organisation of marketing assets
- Use technology and software packages to support day to day activities, e.g., stakeholder communications, development of briefs, data analysis, report writing, presentations and project management
- Identify and use data and technologies to achieve marketing objectives
- Monitor and amend campaigns to meet budget requirements including time and monetary costs
- Review campaigns regularly to ensure effectiveness, to optimise the results
- Measure and evaluate campaign delivery to identify areas for improvement
- Use data analysis tools to record, interpret and analyse customer or campaign data
Training schedule
Full day-to-day training will be provided by the employer. This apprenticeship qualification is called Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer The learning will be delivered by dedicated, industry-specialist tutors via remote or face-to-face sessions. The only exception are any speaking and listening assessments – these may be delivered in a classroom. These sessions take place once per month, for roughly 2 hours, at a time convenient for both you and the employer.
