Marketing Engagement Analyst

Manchester / Hybrid - 2 days per week in the office

Marketing Technology Consultancy

We’re looking for a Marketing Engagement Analyst to join a growing Business Intelligence function, using customer, CRM and campaign data to help improve marketing performance and customer engagement.

This is a hands-on analytics role where you’ll work across CRM, customer and marketing data to understand what’s driving performance across areas such as conversion, retention, reactivation, cross-sell and campaign effectiveness. You’ll work closely with Marketing and BI teams, turning data into clear insights and recommendations that can support better commercial decisions.

What you’ll be doing

  • Analyse CRM, customer and campaign data to identify trends and changes in performance.
  • Track key marketing and customer metrics including conversion, retention, reactivation, cross-sell and campaign ROI.
  • Build reports, dashboards and deeper analysis to help stakeholders understand campaign performance.
  • Analyse customer behaviour, segmentation, targeting and customer journeys.
  • Use statistical and analytical techniques to explore performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Turn complex data into clear conclusions, recommendations and visualisations.
  • Work closely with Marketing and BI teams to understand requirements and provide commercially useful insight.
  • Use SQL, Python and visualisation tools such as Tableau to analyse data and solve business problems.
  • Support campaign measurement and test-and-learn activity, including control groups and uplift analysis.
  • Ensure analysis follows agreed standards around data quality, documentation and governance.
  • Keep up to date with CRM, marketing and industry trends that could impact campaign performance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You’ll have a good understanding of statistics and be able to take data beyond simply reporting numbers — understanding what is happening, why it is happening and what the business can do with that information.

Experience with Python or R, CRM platforms, campaign measurement, customer lifecycle analysis or data warehousing would be beneficial. Most importantly, you’ll be able to communicate your findings clearly and turn analysis into practical recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys getting into the detail of customer and campaign data and wants to have a genuine impact on how marketing performance and customer engagement are understood.
