About The Role 💡
The Marketing Engineer role is a senior individual contributor who leads innovation for our SEO, AEO, and CRO strategies. In this role, you will use AI native tools to turn experimental ideas into automated, execution ready workflows that deliver consistent, scalable results for our clients. Sitting at the intersection of marketing strategy and technical execution, you will design complex systems, such as autonomous agents and wrap them in simple, user-friendly interfaces. By leveraging GitHub for version control and integrating with Google Cloud Service integrations & APIs, you will collaborate closely with our strategists, specialists, and technical team to replace manual tasks with automated efficiency.
What You Will Be Doing 💼
- Lead the Development Roadmap: Own the technical product roadmap, ruthlessly prioritising team and client ideas based on the highest commercial ROI. You will drive advanced marketing automation projects by designing backend data pipelines and multi-node agent frameworks, packaging them into simple, user-friendly interfaces that eliminate manual data crunching.
- Deploy Automated Workflows: Use AI native tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and Google AI Studio to turn experimental operational ideas into stable, automated workflows, while managing version control in GitHub and connecting solutions directly via Google Cloud integrations & APIs.
- Track Shifts & Updates: Monitor industry news and updates to Google search algorithms and LLM behaviours to quickly adapt internal processes, keeping our strategies ahead of the curve so our clients win within search.
- Drive Commercial Impact: Act as the senior technical lead on key accounts and play an active role in sales calls and client presentations to market our advanced technical capabilities. You will mentor mid-level specialists and foster a collaborative team culture while demonstrating directly to stakeholders how our automated workflows eliminate manual work and add real value.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
