Marketing, Events & Business Development Manager
Salary: £50,000 - £56,000
Contract: 13-Month Fixed-Term Contract (Maternity Cover)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Marketing, Events & Business Development Manager to join a highly regarded legal firm based in London on a 13-month fixed-term contract. This role is ideal for a proactive and commercially minded marketing professional who enjoys working closely with senior stakeholders, delivering high-profile events, driving business development initiatives, and raising brand profile within a competitive marketplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with senior fee earners to identify and support opportunities to strengthen existing and prospective client relationships.
- Contribute to the preparation of tailored client proposals, presentations, and capability statements.
- Maintain and update business contacts, pipeline information, and relationship tracking systems to support business development activity.
- Assist with market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities.
- Coordinate and deliver a programme of client-facing events, roundtables, networking activities, and thought leadership sessions.
- Liaise with venues, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful event execution.
- Manage guest communications, registrations, attendee engagement, and event materials.
- Track outcomes, gather feedback, and support follow-up initiatives to maximise return on investment.
- Support the delivery of integrated marketing campaigns designed to enhance brand awareness and client engagement.
- Assist in managing online content, including website updates and digital communication channels.
- Develop marketing materials, presentations, and client-facing collateral to support business objectives.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to promote key campaigns, events, and sector expertise.

Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience in Marketing, Business Development and Events within a professional services environment.
- Strong understanding of relationship-led marketing and client development strategies.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work both strategically and hands-on in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional services experience is essential.
