About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About The Role
As a Marketing Events Manager, International at Anthropic, you will own the execution of events across our international markets that drive pipeline, deepen customer relationships, and build Anthropic's brand and share of mind in markets where we're growing fast. You'll deliver a portfolio ranging from global flagship programs adapted for local markets to brand activations, executive dinners, roundtables, customer summits, and third-party events.
This role sits on the Marketing Events Team, reports to the Head of International Events, and partners closely with International Sales, regional Field Marketing, Communications, Policy, Product Marketing, and Creative. You'll bring hands-on operational excellence and a strong eye for brand storytelling, turning plans into experiences that resonate with diverse audiences, from developers to enterprise executives to policymakers. As part of a small team building Anthropic's international events program, you'll help create the systems, processes, and playbooks that let it scale across regions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute international events that deliver on brand objectives, regional sales priorities, and pipeline targets, while contributing to strategy that supports overall company goals
- Plan and manage a diverse, multi-country portfolio spanning hosted flagship events, brand activations, industry conferences, and cultural moments
- Adapt global event programs for international markets, working with the Marketing Events team so programs stay aligned with company-wide strategy while meeting local market needs
- Work with Creative on event identities, spatial design, and experiential elements that bring Anthropic's brand to life, ensuring our presence is compelling and consistent across all touchpoints
- Oversee event budgets, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations, ensuring strong ROI across the portfolio
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Policy, and Communications to align event messaging and maximize the impact of Anthropic's presence at industry moments
- Build and maintain operational frameworks that keep quality and brand consistency high across regions: speaker and staff briefings, Know Before You Go documentation, and post-event reporting
- Provide on-site leadership and logistics management, serving as the primary point of contact for all event operations during live experiences
- Identify opportunities to innovate on event formats and experiences that differentiate Anthropic in the AI landscape

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

How We're Different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
