Purpose of Marketing Excellence

The purpose of Marketing Excellence is to bring inspiration and innovation to build the capability of the marketing team in TwO. To develop learning content and delivery mechanisms that empower and equip the team with the skills, knowledge and practices to enable them to perform.

Role Overview

This is a vital role within the MEX team, it’s main purpose is to provide comprehensive and proactive organisational and administrative support to the MEX Programme Manager.

This is an all-encompassing role and will require you to operate independently, proactively and flexibly to support the MEX Programme Manager and MEX Team in providing logistical, administration and some design support for the MEX Programme as well as responding to adhoc requests. The role is fast-paced, so being able to prioritise, organise, plan and adapt effectively and at pace will be very important.

The role will suit someone who has excellent organisational and planning skills, who is comfortable working both autonomously and within a team, who is resourceful self starter who is keen to learn and grow.

The role will necessitate occasional travel within the UK and will involve working with the marketing and insight teams across our markets in UK, Australia, France, North America, Brazil, Switzerland, Thailand, China and South East Asia as well as external suppliers and speakers and other key internal departments such as IS, legal and procurement

Key Responsibilities

  • Researching & providing recommendations to the MEX Programme Manager on how to best facilitate events both for virtual and face to face workshops, in the UK and across other geographies.
  • Organising and booking of all meeting & event venues, once approved by MEX Team. Managing and making recommendations to the Programme Manager /MEX team on complex travel arrangements, accommodation, venue and catering bookings and then organising these once approved.
  • Take the lead in identifying and training the MEX Team on technology solutions to improve and support the delivery of the programme (eg Teams applications).
  • Support in design and ideas for workshop content and workshop materials as well as PowerPoint templates and other branding requirements.
  • Providing support for printing of all workshop and meeting materials ; liaising with and organising internal and external printers and suppliers for artworks.
  • Ensuring that all materials are printed to time, specification and delivered to venue 1-5 days ahead of events.
  • Organising travel/flights/trains, accommodations and transfers for MEX team once approved for all workshops and events in the annual calendar, including planned events in the UK, Australia, France, Brazil, Switzerland, Thailand plus any additional or one off events that the MEX team may be required to lead or attend.
  • Setting up MEX Talks for whole community (10 per year/ 2 per day) ensuring correct attendees and coordinating presentation delivery from external speakers and experts. Manage recording of the webcasts ready for loading onto the LMS.
  • Provide ad hoc support to the MEX Programme Manager and team in the collation of content & resources for the LMS.
  • Managing the setting up of all new Contracts and managing existing contracts with suppliers, liaising with internal TwO and ABF legal and procurement teams.
  • Using the SAP system to raise POs and liaising with suppliers once budget spend is approved by MEX team to ensure that POs are delivered to suppliers in a timely manner.
  • Setting up 6-8 weekly calendar of Capability & Collaboration Calls for MEX team with each of the 10 MDs and Insight Managers in each of the BU’s.
  • Inductions; plan logistics and coordination of the MEX Academy programme to ensure training courses allocated and completed on LMS and provide relevant reporting accordingly. Ensure all new starters are onboarded into the MEX Programme.
  • Effective and proactive diary management for the Head of MEX and Head of Insight.
  • Ad-Hoc/Additional; support MEX teams on an ad-hoc basis with logistics or admin needs when required with one off projects and meetings eg GMM or CSW.
