Marketing Executive
We’re looking for an experienced Marketing Executive to join our team and take ownership of our day-to-day marketing activity.
Stuart Energy is a growing, family-founded business specialising in temporary power generation, battery storage and climate-control solutions. We support customers across construction, engineering and industry, combining technical expertise with a genuinely personal approach.
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and creative marketer who enjoys turning ideas into action. You’ll have the freedom to shape campaigns, introduce fresh ideas and work closely with colleagues across the business.
This isn’t an entry-level position. We need someone with at least three to five years’ relevant experience who can quickly understand our business, manage their own priorities and confidently take projects from an initial idea through to delivery and evaluation.
You’ll have plenty of support from the wider team, but you should be comfortable taking ownership, making recommendations and moving work forward without needing constant direction. This position requires someone who is creative, organised, proactive and confident communicating with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
About you
You’ll be an experienced, hands-on marketer who enjoys getting involved and making things happen. You’ll be able to see what needs doing, organise your own workload and take responsibility for delivering work to a high standard. You won’t be expected to know everything on day one, but you should be curious, resourceful and confident enough to ask the right questions and find solutions. You’ll enjoy being part of a close-knit team while also being comfortable working independently and taking ownership of your area.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
