About the Role
Pentland Wholesale Ltd is a leading importer of commercial refrigeration and catering equipment, based in Blackburn, Lancashire. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an ambitious and creative Marketing Executive to join our expanding Marketing team.
Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in delivering engaging, commercially focused marketing activity across our digital and offline channels. From social media and website content to product launches, campaigns and promotional activity, you’ll help bring our brands and products to life.
We’re looking for someone who is creative, proactive and commercially minded, with a strong eye for detail and a genuine interest in marketing. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their marketing career within a growing business, with plenty of scope to take ownership of projects and make an impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Marketing Manager and Graphic Designer to develop and deliver engaging, high-quality marketing campaigns and content.
- Plan, create and manage content across our social media channels, including LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram.
- Create engaging content for our website, blog and other digital platforms, helping to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.
- Support the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns, product launches, promotions and seasonal activity.
- Help develop creative marketing ideas and campaigns that support wider business and sales objectives.
- Create, update and maintain marketing materials while ensuring all content remains consistent with company brand guidelines.
- Manage and maintain online product listings, ensuring product descriptions, features, specifications and downloadable content are accurate, engaging and commercially focused.
- Work closely with internal teams to develop strong product knowledge and translate technical product information into clear, customer-friendly marketing content.
- Assist with email marketing, digital promotions and other customer communications.
- Monitor and review marketing activity, helping to identify opportunities to improve engagement and performance.
- Support the Marketing Manager with general marketing administration, reporting and day-to-day campaign management.
- Provide professional support with telephone enquiries when required.
- Carry out additional duties and projects as required to support the wider Marketing team and business.

Skills & Experience

- Previous experience in a marketing role, or a relevant marketing qualification.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Experience using website and content management systems such as Magento or WordPress would be desirable, but is not essential.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- A proactive approach, with the confidence to contribute ideas and take ownership of projects.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A genuine interest in marketing, brands and creating content that delivers results.
