Location: Brentwood

Contract: Full-time, permanent
Help shape the marketing of an established, growing national business
Walkers Cleaning & Support Services is a successful, services business that has been operating since 1960. We provide commercial cleaning and specialist support services to well-known organisations throughout the UK, working across healthcare, education, retail, commercial property and facilities management.
As the business continues to grow, we are looking for a commercially minded B2B Marketing Executive to help strengthen our brand, create engaging content and generate new business opportunities.
This is a varied, hands-on position with genuine scope to introduce ideas, take ownership of projects and make a visible contribution to the company’s growth.
The role
Working closely with the Managing Director, Sales Director and wider management team, you will coordinate Walkers’ marketing activity across digital campaigns, LinkedIn, email marketing, website content, case studies, sales materials and lead generation.
You will turn the company’s contract wins, client success stories, technology, environmental initiatives and service innovations into engaging marketing content.
You will also help identify target organisations and decision-makers, develop campaigns and measure how marketing activity contributes to enquiries, meetings and new business opportunities.
This is a marketing role rather than a cold-calling sales position. However, commercial awareness and an understanding of how marketing supports business development will be important.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
