Are you a creative marketer who thrives on delivering results? We’re looking for a Marketing Executive who’s ready to take ownership of conference campaigns and make a real impact.
In this role, you’ll develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns that drive delegate ticket sales and attract commercial sponsorships. Your work will directly contribute to the success of our events and the growth of our business.
You’ll be part of a collaborative and diverse and supportive marketing team, where your ideas are valued and your contributions make a difference. Together, we’ll work to increase engagement within our delegate communities and generate high-quality leads for our sponsorship team.

- Campaign Planning and Execution - Plan, create, and implement integrated marketing campaigns across digital, email, social media, and partner channels to promote events and generate sponsorship leads and delegate registrations.
- Content and Collateral Development - Write and edit marketing copy for a variety of materials including event brochures, email campaigns, speaker announcements, and website pages.
- Email Marketing - Manage segmented email campaigns, perform A/B testing, and optimize subject lines and content to improve engagement and conversion rates, using our in-house email system to track performance.
- Digital Marketing - Create paid and organic campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn, etc.) to drive lead generation and delegate bookings.
- Database and CRM Management - Maintain and update marketing databases and CRM systems, ensuring data integrity and effective segmentation for targeted outreach.
- Social Media Management - Create and schedule engaging social content across LinkedIn and X. Monitor campaign performance and audience engagement to continuously refine strategy.
- Team Collaboration – Work closely across the marketing team to share ideas and understand what marketing outreach works and gain ideas. Collaborate with the telesales team by providing clear data handovers to support lead conversion.
- Sponsor Support - Work closely with sponsors to support their promotional efforts and strengthen event visibility.
- Partnerships and Outreach – Build relationships with media partners, industry associations, and influencers to broaden campaign reach and secure promotional opportunities.
- Reporting and Analysis - Monitor campaign performance against KPIs and use insights to optimize future marketing activity and improve ROI. Create unique tracking links to measure web engagement and understand what’s working. Keep up to speed with industry trends and monitor competitor activity to inform marketing strategies and stay ahead of the curve.

Essential Skills, Traits and Qualifications
- Experience in a conference/event marketing position.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Marketing, Communications, or Advertising is an asset, although not imperative.
- Excellent written and oral communications.
- Showcases strong project management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Deadline-driven and can manage time effectively and independently.
- Commercially savvy with an eye for growth with innovative recommendations.
- Creative, flexible, and agile with the ability to reset priorities in a rapidly changing environment.
- Team player who is comfortable working with and gaining commitment from personnel across different functional groups.
