About Smile Kitchens

At Smile Kitchens, we believe in creating more than just beautiful kitchens; we design spaces that bring joy, creativity, and connection into people’s homes. We’re a growing, design-led D2C brand of around 40 people. We operate online-only, direct to our customers, and move fast.

This is a hands-on, entrepreneurial environment where ideas move quickly, priorities can evolve, and there’s plenty of opportunity to take ownership and make things happen. It’s a scale-up full of ideas, with real variety and real ownership on offer, and none of the layers or red tape of a big corporation.

The Role

We’re looking for an organised, proactive Marketing Executive who wants genuine ownership rather than a narrowly defined role. We want someone who can take a brief, use their judgement, get things moving, and improve the way we do things along the way.

You’ll own a varied mix of content, email marketing, website updates, SEO, and reporting, working closely with the Marketing Manager and the wider business. There’s plenty of support when you need it, but we won’t be looking over your shoulder; we want someone who takes responsibility for their work, spots opportunities, brings commercially minded ideas to the table, and can influence the people around them to move initiatives forward.

It’s a broad role by design, and a great fit for someone who enjoys variety, wants to see the direct impact of their work, and is excited by helping to build the marketing function as the business grows.

Key Responsibilities

SEO & Content

  • Drive our organic growth, planning and executing a keyword and content strategy that grows traffic, builds authority in the kitchen and home space, and reduces our reliance on paid to bring customer acquisition costs down.
  • Carry out keyword research and use it to shape content, page structure, and copy.
  • Plan and produce SEO-driven blogs and landing pages that rank and convert.
  • Optimise on-page elements (titles, meta descriptions, headers, URLs, internal linking, image alt text) and monitor rankings, traffic, and performance to keep finding opportunities.
  • Stay on top of algorithm changes and evolving best practices and work alongside our SEO freelancer to deliver the wider organic strategy.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
