We’re looking for a proactive and organised Marketing Executive to join Downing’s Marketing team based in London. This role sits within the institutional marketing channel, working closely with the Institutional Lead and wider Marketing team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering marketing activity across a variety of channels to our institutional audience. This includes supporting the execution of campaigns, updating marketing collateral, and managing email and social media activity, while beginning to take ownership of defined workstreams.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their marketing career within financial services and gain hands-on experience across a broad range of products, channels and stakeholders, while building their technical knowledge and contributing to the overall effectiveness of marketing activity.

In this role, you will:

  • Support the execution of marketing campaigns across email, social media, website and other channels, ensuring activity is delivered accurately and on time.
  • Create and update marketing collateral such as presentations, sales aides and digital content, including typesetting and editing documents using InDesign.
  • Manage email marketing activity using HubSpot, including building, scheduling and reporting on campaigns, and beginning to use performance data to inform improvements.
  • Co-ordinate organic LinkedIn activity, including drafting posts, creating social assets in Canva, managing approvals and tracking engagement.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Around two years’ experience in B2B marketing; financial services experience would be a bonus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering accurate, high-quality work.
  • Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive attitude, with a willingness to learn, ask questions and take ownership of tasks.
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with marketing platforms (e.g. HubSpot, Canva, InDesign) would be advantageous.
