Marketing Executive – SaaS
Salary: £35,000 pro rata
Contract: 3-month fixed-term contract, with potential to become permanent
Location: London / Hybrid
Hours: Full-time
We're looking for a hands-on Marketing Executive to help us launch and grow two new UK software businesses.
This is initially a three-month role with a simple objective: help us find out which marketing channels work, and then do more of what works.
We've already built the products, websites, and an extensive marketing and customer-acquisition plan. We're now looking for someone who can help turn that plan into action.
You'll work directly with the founder and have considerable freedom to test ideas, run campaigns, and improve what we're doing. This isn't a role where you'll spend three months producing PowerPoint presentations about what the marketing strategy could look like.
What you'll be doing
- Help implement our marketing plan across a mixture of paid, organic, and direct channels, including:
- Setting up, running, and improving Meta advertising campaigns
- Helping build and test lead-generation funnels
- Running retargeting campaigns
- Supporting email marketing and outbound campaigns
- Creating content for LinkedIn and other channels
- Helping improve website conversion rates and landing pages
- Developing lead magnets and other ways of generating enquiries
- Supporting referral and customer acquisition campaigns
- Researching audiences, competitors, and potential customers
- Monitoring campaign performance and identifying what's actually generating leads and customers
- Testing new ideas and making recommendations about where we should invest our marketing budget

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
Graduate Consultant — 2026 Scheme
Why you're a good match
StrongYour economics background and your summer at a regional bank line up with what PwC looks for on the consulting scheme. Applications close in four weeks.
See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
You won't be expected to be an expert in all of these things from day one. We're much more interested in someone who understands the fundamentals of digital marketing, is comfortable learning new tools, and likes getting things done.
About you
You'll probably have around 1–3 years' experience in marketing, although we're more interested in what you can do than exactly how long you've been doing it.
You'll ideally have some experience of digital marketing and paid social, particularly Meta, and be comfortable working with things like email marketing, LinkedIn, Canva, and basic marketing analytics.
Experience marketing SaaS or working in a start-up or small business would be useful, but isn't essential.
More importantly, we're looking for someone who:
- is curious and willing to experiment
- can work independently and take ownership of projects
- is comfortable with numbers and measuring whether campaigns are working
- writes clearly and can produce good marketing copy
- isn't frightened of unfamiliar technology
- is organized enough to keep several small projects moving at once
- understands that good marketing is ultimately about generating customers, not just impressions and followers

The opportunity
This is deliberately starting as a three-month fixed-term role.
We're a small business launching new products, and we want to establish which approaches to customer acquisition work before building a larger marketing operation.
You'll therefore get considerably more responsibility than you might in a traditional junior marketing role. You'll work directly with the founder, have access to a marketing budget, and be encouraged to test your own ideas.
If the programme works, there is a genuine opportunity for the role to become permanent and grow as the businesses grow.
How to apply
Send us your CV along with a short note telling us about one digital marketing campaign you've worked on, what you personally did, and what happened as a result.
We're much more interested in that than a generic cover letter.
“It took my CV and asked me questions relevant to understanding what kind of jobs to suggest for me. Suggestions were almost perfect. Jobs were exactly what I’ve been looking for.”
