Role: Marketing Executive – Wakefield - FULLY ONSITE

Salary: £35k- £40k DOE per annum

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm

We’re working with a leading SaaS business who are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Marketing Executive to support their business development efforts.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in increasing brand awareness, generating leads, and solidifying our position in the market. This role requires a blend of creativity, analytical skills, and a proactive approach to identifying growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research & Analysis:

    • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
    • Analyse customer segments and develop targeted marketing strategies.
  • Marketing Strategy Development:

    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing strategies that align with business development objectives.
    • Assist in defining marketing goals and KPIs.
  • Tender Identification & Response:

    • Research and find appropriate tenders that align with the company's offerings and strategic goals.
    • Write and submit high-quality ITT responses, ensuring all submissions meet the requirements outlined in the tender documents.
  • Content Creation:

    • Create compelling content for various platforms, including blogs, newsletters, and marketing collateral that promote our services.
    • Manage website content updates, ensuring all information is accurate, engaging, and optimised for SEO.
    • Regularly update LinkedIn and other social media profiles to reflect our current offerings, achievements, and industry-related insights.

  • Digital Marketing:

    • Manage and optimise digital marketing campaigns across platforms (SEO/SEM, PPC, email marketing, and social media).
    • Utilise analytical tools to track and report on campaign performance and ROI.
  • Opportunity Pipeline Reporting:

    • Develop and maintain reporting on the sales opportunity pipeline, including tracking potential leads and current engagements.
    • Provide insights and recommendations based on pipeline data to optimise marketing and sales strategies.
  • DMU Engagement:

    • Utilise LinkedIn to locate and engage with Decision-Making Unit (DMU) contacts within our target sectors.
    • Connect with potential clients and stakeholders through direct messaging to foster relationships and explore business opportunities.
  • Collaboration & Communication:

    • Work closely with the sales team to create promotional materials, pitch decks, and presentations that support business development.
    • Engage with industry partners and stakeholders to explore collaboration opportunities.
  • Event Management:

    • Support the planning and execution of marketing events, webinars, and trade shows to showcase our products and services.
    • Gather feedback and insights following events to refine future strategies.

  • Brand Management:
    • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels.
    • Monitor brand perception and make recommendations for improvements.

Essential Skills & Attributes

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably in the SaaS or technology sector.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing, content creation, and lead generation.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.).
  • Experience with website content management systems (CMS) and social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools is preferred.

Skills:

  • Proven experience in marketing, with a strong understanding of market dynamics.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, particularly Google Ads and email marketing platforms.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Leadership capabilities to guide teams towards achieving shared objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas clearly.
  • Familiarity with IT systems and office software applications is essential.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail when producing marketing materials.
