Help us shape what Vallum becomes next
At Vallum Associates, marketing touches almost every part of our business.
From international campaigns and social content to client presentations, video, websites, market intelligence and brand development, our work helps Vallum enter new markets, win new business, attract specialist talent and build a brand people recognise and trust.
As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Marketing Executive to become a key part of our marketing team. Working closely with our Marketing Manager you’ll be helping Vallum level up.
This is a hands-on role for someone who already understands the fundamentals of marketing and is ready for greater ownership, greater variety and a bigger platform for their ideas.
If you’re creative, commercially curious and ready to make a visible impact, keep reading.
A bit about us
Founded in 2015, Vallum has grown into a global talent solutions business operating across:
- Energy & Utilities
- Engineering & Renewables
- Commodities & Financial Services
- Technology
- MEP/FP Engineering
We’ve expanded internationally, built specialist teams, launched new services and business ventures, and developed a brand that reaches hundreds of thousands of people across our markets.
But we’re not finished.
We’re still growing, developing new services and brands, investing in original content and working to become one of the most recognised recruitment businesses in the industries we serve. Marketing has an important role to play in that growth…and so will you.
What you’ll be doing
- Create content that gets noticed: Plan, write, design and deliver content across our social media channels, website and email campaigns. You’ll turn market knowledge, company news and ideas from across the business into content people genuinely want to engage with.
- Bring ideas to life: Develop original campaign concepts from our markets across the UK, US, Europe and APAC. You’ll work closely with our marketing manager to take first ideas to final assets and turn opportunities into clear, creative campaigns.
- Tell stories through video content: Plan, film and edit video content featuring our people, culture and specialist expertise. You’ll be comfortable working behind the camera and willing to appear in front of it when the idea calls for it.
- Support our commercial growth: Help craft bespoke client presentations, proposals, tenders, market reports and sales materials that strengthen conversations and support new business opportunities.
- Build relationships across Vallum: Work directly with consultants, directors and the board to uncover ideas, gather insights and keep projects moving. You won’t wait for content to arrive in your inbox; you’ll go out and get it.
- Strengthen our digital presence: Update website content, build landing pages and contribute to organic and paid campaigns.
- Use performance to improve: Working with the Marketing Manager, you’ll monitor the content we produce to help us understand what is working and where we can do more.
- Protect the Vallum brand: Make sure everything we produce feels considered, consistent and unmistakably Vallum, from a single social graphic to a major client document.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
