Marketing Executive

Pursuit Group | Braintree, Essex (Hybrid - 3 days office, 2 from home) | Full Time

Due to the location of the office, you must be a car driver.

About Pursuit Group

Pursuit Group is a specialist recruitment consultancy operating across Essex, London and beyond through our two divisions, Pursuit Executive and Pursuit Resources. As we enter an exciting stage of growth, we're looking for a creative, tech-savvy Marketing Executive to join our small but growing team and help shape how we show up for clients, candidates and the wider community.

The Role

Reporting to our Marketing Consultant, you'll bring Pursuit's marketing strategy to life across digital channels and in-person events. Recruitment gives you a varied mix of B2B and B2C marketing, so no two days will look the same.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, create and schedule content across our social channels, with a particular focus on LinkedIn
  • Write compelling copy across all channels, including social posts, emails, web pages and marketing materials
  • Deliver email marketing campaigns to clients and candidates
  • Maintain and update our website, including writing and publishing blogs
  • Create engaging visual and video content for social media, making simple design changes as needed
  • Support on the production of professional online presentations and branded literature such as brochures, flyers and client packs
  • Ensure all content is consistent with Pursuit's brand and tone of voice
  • Track and report on campaign performance using LinkedIn analytics, Google Analytics and email metrics
  • Support the coordination of our client events program, including Employment Law Seminars and Management Workshops
  • Help organise and facilitate in-person events such as job fairs, open days and community engagement with local schools and colleges
  • Contribute to our podcast and other emerging content formats
  • Embrace and explore new marketing tools and technology to help the team work smarter, including AI

About You

Essential:

  • Degree in Marketing or a related subject, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Experience in social media marketing, especially LinkedIn
  • Experience with email marketing and website content, including blog writing
  • Confident using Canva or a similar creative platform. You don't need to be a graphic designer, but you'll be comfortable creating social content and making simple design edits
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • A technical mindset and enthusiasm for new technology
  • A drive for continuous professional development
  • A team player who also stays motivated and organised when working independently

Desirable:

  • 1-2 years' experience in a marketing role
  • Experience creating presentations and branded marketing literature
  • Experience managing a WordPress CMS
  • Basic knowledge of SEO
  • Experience supporting or producing podcasts
  • Experience using Clipchamp or similar video editing tools

Hours: 9am - 5.30pm
