Marketing Executive
Department: Marketing
Location: Oxford Campus
Compensation: £32,000 - £35,000 / year

Description
We are seeking a creative, organised, and proactive Marketing Executive to support the delivery of our marketing strategy. This role will contribute across multiple areas including branding, public relations, internal and external communications, CRM and email campaigns, videography, social media support, and event coordination.
Role Duties
Communications & PR
- Support internal communications initiatives to both staff and students, including weekly student newsletter and company updates
- Prepare and distribute external communications to leads, partners, and stakeholders
- Ensure clear and consistent messaging across all communication channels
- Strategic communication planning & execution
- Draft press releases, articles, and promotional content, liaising with partners where applicable
- Monitor media coverage and report on PR performance
- Media liaison when appropriate
Branding & Marketing Materials
- Oversee tone of voice and brand consistency across all channels.
- Collaborating with internal teams, agencies, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure consistent brand messaging.
- Increase brand awareness across the business, ensuring consistency across all published documents.
- Assist in creating marketing collateral including brochures, presentations, and digital content

CRM & Email
- Build and manage Zoho email campaigns and templates.
- Optimise CRM workflows and lead nurturing journeys.
- Segment audiences and analyse campaign performance
- Optimise campaigns based on engagement metrics and insights
Videography & Content Creation
- Assist in planning, filming, and editing video content for external and internal purposes
- Create engaging multimedia content for use across digital platforms
- Support storytelling through visual content aligned with brand strategy
- Write and publish SEO-aligned blog content.
- Support and collaborate with digital content creation.
Social Media Support
- Assist with the planning and scheduling of social media content
- Monitor engagement and respond to comments/messages where appropriate
- Track performance and provide insights to improve effectiveness
- Stay up to date with trends and suggest new content ideas
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activity
Events
- Assist in the planning and execution of marketing events & exhibitions, including Open Days (weekend work required)
- Coordinate logistics including venues, materials, and communications
- Support on-site delivery and post-event follow-up
- Evaluate event success and contribute to reporting

Core Competencies
- Proof reading experience and meticulous attention to detail.
- Working understanding of print production process.
- Working understanding of digital strategies.
- Working understanding of the difference between Brand and Direct Response marketing activities.
- Knowledge of social scheduling tools.
- Knowledge of email, CRM & CMS tools.
- Excellent I.T skills – full use of Microsoft Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal skills with a positive and enthusiastic personality.
- Strong organisational and creative skills.
