Location: Knaresborough

Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 per annum

Hours: Monday – Friday, Full-time

We’re working with an established organisation that is looking for a Marketing Executive to join their team and play an important part in how they communicate with their audiences.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves marketing, enjoys creating great content and wants their work to have a genuine purpose.

You’ll be involved in a broad mix of marketing activity from social media, email campaigns and website content through to creative design, events, communications and campaign reporting. You’ll have the opportunity to bring your own ideas to the table, whilst working closely with an experienced Marketing Manager and wider team.

Whether you already have some marketing experience or you’re a recent Marketing graduate looking for your first career opportunity, we’re interested in hearing from you.

What will you be doing as Marketing Executive?

  • Creating engaging content for digital, social media, email and other marketing channels
  • Supporting the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns
  • Writing and editing content, ensuring everything is accurate, engaging and on brand
  • Managing and updating website content
  • Helping to grow and maintain social media channels
  • Supporting email marketing activity and monitoring campaign performance
  • Creating marketing materials and digital assets using design tools such as Canva and Adobe
  • Supporting promotional activity around events, including attending events when required
  • Assisting with PR, communications and media activity
  • Using marketing data and analytics to understand what is working and identify opportunities to improve
  • Helping maintain brand consistency across all marketing communications
  • Working with colleagues, external contacts and creative partners on marketing projects
  • Bringing new ideas, creativity and energy to the wider marketing function

What are we looking for?

Our client is open-minded about experience. You might already be working as a Marketing Executive, Marketing Assistant, Digital Marketing Executive, Content Executive or Communications Assistant, or you could be a recent graduate ready to take your first step into a marketing career.

What matters most is that you’re creative, enthusiastic and genuinely passionate about producing marketing that connects with people and supports something worthwhile.

You’ll Ideally Have

  • A genuine interest in marketing, content and communications
  • Strong written communication skills and an excellent eye for detail
  • Confidence creating content for social media and digital channels
  • An interest in design, branding and visual content
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A willingness to learn new systems, platforms and ways of working
  • A positive, proactive and collaborative approach
  • The confidence to contribute ideas rather than simply wait to be told what to do
