Purpose:
You will be a versatile, self-sufficient Marketing Executive, comfortable owning the full marketing mix to support the growth and visibility of NFX UK, an expert regulatory network led by RSSL. This role covers everything from strategy and planning through to content creation, social media, email campaigns, website management, events and PR. You will develop and execute the marketing strategy to raise awareness and profile of the network across all channels. The majority of your time will be dedicated to NFX UK, with some additional work supporting other RSSL brands and projects such as grant-funded initiatives.
Primary Accountabilities / Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a marketing strategy focused on raising brand awareness, working closely with the network manager
- Own and manage the LinkedIn content plan, including scheduling, writing, graphic design, and publishing of regular posts
- Manage email marketing campaigns including regular newsletters
- Write engaging copy for the website, social media, emails, marketing materials (e.g. flyers, articles, reports)
- Manage the network website (WordPress), keeping content updated and resolving website issues with external agency
- Project management of website improvements with partner agency
- Manage PR activity and media opportunities to raise the network's profile
- Maintain brand assets, messaging, and tone of voice across all channels
- Lead marketing and promotion for the flagship annual conference, network led webinars and events
- Identify suitable industry awards and develop compelling nominations
- Track, measure and report on marketing performance using analytics to continuously optimise campaigns and strategy
- Contribute to marketing for other RSSL brands and projects as needed
- Manage relationships with external agencies, partners and multiple internal stakeholders
- Support marketing budget planning and allocation as required

Knowledge, Skills, Experience Requirements:
Key skills:
- Few years of marketing experience in a generalist marketing role
- Strong writing and content creation skills
- Social media management
- Email marketing platform experience (e.g. Mailchimp) and newsletter production
- Website CMS experience (e.g. WordPress)
- Comfortable using and interpreting analytics (google analytics, linkedin)
- Event, webinar management experience
- Able to create social media graphics (e.g. Canva, Adobe Express)
- Confident managing multiple stakeholders, including agencies and cross functional teams
- Ability to work independently, manage your own schedule and collaborate in a hybrid environment
- Strong time management skills and ability to balance a busy workload within part time hours
Desirable skills:
- Experience in membership organisations, industry networks, or B2B communities
- PR and media relations experience
- Understanding of sponsorship and partnership development
- Background in the food, nutrition, or science/research sector

This is a part-time role, working approximately 2.5 days per week with flexible hours that can be split across the week. The role is hybrid, combining remote working with time at RSSL in Reading, UK.
