The Role
In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations across our Paid Search (PPC) and Affiliate channels in close collaboration with our external agency partners. You will act as a key cross-functional link across internal teams to maximise traffic, revenue, and lead generation, while gaining broad exposure to wider digital marketing workstreams.

What you’ll be doing:
Paid Search:
- Manage day-to-day PPC operations across both Retail and Design & Installation (D&I) propositions alongside our media agency.
- Optimise performance for traffic, revenue, and lead generation using GA4, Google Ads, and Data Studio to provide actionable insights.
- Serve as the primary representative in internal campaign planning meetings, ensuring channel alignment.
- Partner closely with Local Store Marketing and Retail Media teams to align strategies with wider business initiatives.
- Brief, review, and approve creative assets, ad copy, ad extensions, and target keywords.
- Collaborate with our feed management provider to build and execute a test-and-learn roadmap focused on attribute optimisation.
Affiliate Marketing:
- Oversee day-to-day Affiliate channel performance, focusing on high-quality traffic acquisition and revenue growth.
- Ensure merchant pages, offers, and promotions are accurate across top affiliate partners by working closely with the eCommerce Trading team.
- Build strong relationships with key partners to drive engagement and secure high-visibility exposure.
- Manage the Affiliates channel budget and present performance reports and actionable insights to key stakeholders.
- Brief creative assets and establish incremental testing roadmaps with agency partners to measure the true uplift of selected affiliates.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
