Marketing Executive – MA Financial Media

Hybrid: Herne Hill, 3 days in the office

Salary: £30,000 and company benefits.

Contract: Permanent, full-time

At Mark Allen, we create specialist content, events, data and insight for professional communities across sectors that matter.

This is a hands-on marketing role with the chance to get involved across three distinct MA Financial Media brands: Estates Gazette, Portfolio Adviser and Global Energy Dynamics. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will work across email, social media, events, subscriptions, partnerships and audience growth, helping to bring campaigns to life and keep activity moving across the business.

You will be trusted with real responsibility from the outset, working closely with marketing, editorial, commercial and events teams, while building broad experience across B2B media and developing your own ideas along the way.

What you'll be doing:

  • Create, schedule and deploy email marketing campaigns across Estates Gazette, Portfolio Adviser and Global Energy Dynamics, covering subscriptions, events, jobs, partnerships and audience engagement
  • Manage social media activity across all three brands, including planning, scheduling, posting, maintaining content calendars and monitoring engagement
  • Draft, proofread and edit marketing copy for emails, social media, event materials, website pages and other brand communications, adapting messaging for different audiences
  • Coordinate marketing assets, campaign materials and event activity, working with internal teams, event partners, designers and external suppliers to support timely delivery
  • Maintain campaign schedules, marketing calendars, action lists, website content and event pages, ensuring activity is accurate, up to date and delivered to deadline
  • Support audience data management and campaign reporting, including list preparation, data entry, maintaining accurate records and summarising performance across email, social media, website activity and events
  • Take responsibility for day-to-day marketing activity, contributing ideas and wider marketing projects across MA Financial Media, seeing work through and seeking guidance or escalating issues where needed.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
