Marketing Executive - 10-Month Fixed term contract
Full-Time, 4-Day Week – No Fridays!
Hybrid - 2 days in the office
Salary - £35,000 - 40,000
We have recently partnered with a scaling SaaS business based in Haywards Heath. They are looking for a Marketing Executive to join the existing team.
As a Marketing Executive, you’ll own the strategy and execution of their lead-generation engine. This is a pivotal role designed for a generalist with a performance mindset, tasked with diversifying our inbound channels and turning digital interest into measurable revenue. You’ll be working very closely with the sales team to make their lead engine a success and drive significant revenue growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage inbound activities to broaden our channel mix, optimising SEO and paid search to reduce reliance on traditional events and drive consistent, scalable traffic.
- Be the primary point of contact for our external SEO, paid search, and PR agencies.
- Own the "lead-to-opportunity" journey. By identifying friction in the funnel and implementing lead-scoring models, you’ll ensure that only the warmest prospects reach our sales team.
- Own the delivery of MQLs and SQLs. You’ll translate high-level business goals into actionable marketing plans that fuel our marketing-sourced pipeline.
- Partner closely with Sales Leadership and SDRs to refine follow-up sequences, messaging, and lead visibility. You’ll define the "Gold Standard" for MQL-to-SQL handoffs.
- Using HubSpot and GA4, you’ll build and maintain full-funnel dashboards, providing leadership with a transparent view of channel effectiveness and conversion health.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
