The Marketing Executive
The Marketing Executive plays a key role in helping to deliver White Oak’s marketing strategy across White Oak brand, partner marketing, and social media whilst supporting internal and customer communications for consistency of message and brand. This is a hands-on role for someone who can combine creativity with disciplined execution, take ownership of work, and consistently deliver accurate, high-quality content and marketing activity.
The Marketing Exec will be a natural storyteller who can execute brand and partner-specific marketing and social media and help create a consistent brand image and content message across all channels.
This role would suit a marketer who has completed their first marketing role and is ready to take greater ownership, broaden their experience, and make a visible contribution within a commercially focused team. The successful candidate will combine creativity, excellent attention to detail, confident communication, and a genuine willingness to get involved and make things happen.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Partner and White Oak UK Marketing
- Creation and execution of multi-channel marketing initiatives
- Working with the Partners
- Develop and deliver tailored marketing propositions and collateral for each strategic partner, ensuring alignment with partner objectives and White Oak commercial goals
- Marketing Propositions and Collateral
- Develop and deliver marketing propositions and collateral for White Oak specific priorities and products, aligned to annual corporate objectives
- Content Creation
- Website content, case studies, social media, email communications: written, visual, blogs, video, and podcast creations
- Social Media
- Create, schedule, and publish content across all relevant social media platforms, assist with website content updates
- Brand
- Maintain the content calendar and controlled marketing asset library, including approved wording, imagery, biographies, claims, and CTAs (available to stakeholders)
- Market Research and Analysis
- Competitor research, gather customer insights and feedback, and liaise with customer services on customer feedback
- Admin
- Marketing calendar and budget maintenance
- Develop Effective Working Relationships
- With internal stakeholders including Compliance, Data, Sales, Operations, and HR
- Ensure Marketing Activities Comply
- With FCA requirements, Consumer Duty principles, GDPR, AI approved processes, and internal governance procedures

Additional Responsibilities
- Leverage approved AI tools to improve the efficiency, consistency, and effectiveness of marketing activities while maintaining compliance, brand standards, and human oversight
- Develop, maintain, and optimize AI prompt libraries for content creation, including brand writer prompts per partner and product for stakeholders to use for campaign briefs, social media content, email communications, and SEO content
- Ensure all AI-generated content is reviewed, fact-checked, and approved in line with White Oak governance procedures and regulatory requirements
- Establish and manage repeatable content production workflows, templates, and AI-assisted processes to improve consistency and scalability
- Support the development of White Oak's brand voice and messaging framework, ensuring consistent application across all channels and partner communications
- Any other request deemed reasonable by your line manager

Core Skills and Knowledge
- Degree qualified or equivalent
- Minimum 12 months experience in a similar role, supporting marketing activities or campaigns
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of digital marketing and social media platforms
- Attention to detail / proofreading ability
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Commercially minded, with the ability to translate business objectives into targeted marketing solutions
Any Other Attributes That Would Be Helpful, but Not Essential for the Role
- Strong understanding of generative AI tools and prompt engineering for marketing applications
- Basic design skills (Canva, Adobe or similar)
- Experience using marketing analytics tools such as Google Analytics
- SEO content and GEO awareness
- Experience delivering partner or channel marketing programmes
- Stakeholder management experience
