Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who we are looking for

We’re looking for a creative marketer who is bursting with ideas, and able to turn those ideas into targeted campaigns that convince audiences to buy our books. This role is perfect for a Marketing Assistant ready for their next step and to take the lead on their own campaigns.

In this role you'll collaborate closely with your colleagues in Marketing and Publicity as well as Sales and Editorial, always thinking about how to make a campaign truly effective, from initial ideas and planning through to reporting and reflecting on results. You'll have experience in both organic and paid for social media, and you'll be familiar with some basic digital design tools. You'll be able to multi-task across a wide range of campaigns, and able to prioritise and manage your time in order to deliver your work on time and within budget. You'll have excellent communications skills and be comfortable presenting to both internal and external stakeholders. You'll be curious to try new ways of reaching new audiences, whilst also thinking about how you can measure impact and return on time and investment.
