About the company
A fast-growing, private equity-backed events and media business with a portfolio of exhibitions, conferences and awards spanning construction, logistics, retail, manufacturing, facilities management, health & safety, fire, security and the wider built environment. The business has grown through acquisition and continues to launch new events, with a fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture built around live events and media.
Role responsibilities
- Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital, email, social, print, direct mail, PR and onsite activation
- Own email marketing end-to-end campaign builds, list segmentation, HubSpot workflows/automation and performance reporting
- Lead day-to-day social media activity across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, including short-form video content
- Support content creation and communications, newsletters, articles, reports and webinars working with internal teams and external partners
- Maintain CRM databases and audience segmentation, ensuring data quality and GDPR compliance
- Support partnership, sponsorship and exhibitor relationships to drive engagement and commercial opportunities
- Track campaign performance and KPIs, providing insight and reporting to the wider marketing team

Candidate background
- Around 1-2 years' B2B marketing experience, ideally events, exhibitions or media
- A genuine go-getter attitude and willingness to take on tasks beyond the job description
- Confident, friendly communication style, this is a client-facing role involving regular contact with stakeholders
- Hands-on experience with digital marketing, content creation, social media and email campaigns
- Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines independently
- Evidence of initiative outside of work, volunteering, personal projects, society leadership is great
