Compensation: £27,000 / year
Description
Location: Poole, Dorset (hybrid with up to 2 days working from home after successful training)
Hours: 37.5 per week
Working pattern: Monday - Friday 9:00 until 17:00
Main Purpose
The role holder is responsible for day-to-day marketing activity, maintenance, process improvements and delivery of designated trading tasks, programmes and projects. Proactively support trading management on a dynamic and agile basis in order to deliver value added commercial activity required to achieve growth and divisional marketing KPIs across the group.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Delivery of day-to-day group trading activity as briefed by trading management as part of managed service, including, but not limited to:
- Website content changes/improvements
- Producing and publishing institutional and rich informational content
- Product launches
- Re-merchandising of products and categories, including adding images
- Re-pricing
- Categorisation
- Fixing errors
- Algolia search term management
- Thoroughly proof marketing materials
- Expediently and diligently address and resolve marketing tickets via JIRA.
- Building and sending market-leading email marketing campaigns and programmes which deliver on commercial objectives and are highly accurate, following briefs from trading management.
- Supporting trading managers with the production of printed marketing materials.
- Monitoring of core advertising and website performance, reporting to trading managers as necessary.
- Conduct regular competitor and market analysis, reporting back to trading managers as necessary.
- Supporting in execution and sign off of commercial trading activity.
- System administration to support trading activity and maintain group databases, including product, website, and customer data.
- Supporting Trading Managers on monthly commercial reporting, KPIs and analysis as well as reporting back on the effectiveness of trading activity as required.
- Supporting business development where necessary on new website builds and additional commercial opportunities including new resellers, marketplaces, outlets, and Axent.
- Support CX team with alternative advertising efforts when required.
- Proactively contributing to the improvement and development across day-to-day trading activity and processes to help drive commercial success, expediency, and efficiency.
- Proactively recommend changes to the Marketing Services Team Leader regarding internal processes and ways of working, to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the role and/or team.
- To undertake any other reasonable duties, as required by management.

Person Specification
Qualifications
- A relevant CIM marketing qualification, marketing degree or equivalent marketing experience [Essential]
Skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in delivering high quality work [Essential]
- Adaptability and the willingness to be flexible in a dynamic working environment [Essential]
- Ability to work at pace, under pressure and to tight deadlines [Essential]
- To apply marketing principles in a pragmatic, efficient way [Essential]
- Ability to undertake research and write clear, concise marketing material that adds value [Essential]
- Ability and confidence to make recommendations and suggestions for internal process and efficiency improvements [Essential]
- Strong communication skills [Essential]

- High level of IT proficiency, including MS Office (inc. Excel) and other tools such as Business Objects and Power BI [Essential]
