This is a permanent role based in Durham, Northeast England, working for a trusted, industry-leading wholesale retailer in their growing marketing team. They are looking for an experienced Marketing Executive to join them in a new role where you will be working alongside a Marketing Manager, supporting high profile National Accounts and Projects across the business, working on delivering integrated marketing activity that will drive growth within the national B2B accounts.

The Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Marketing Executive who can support the Marketing Manager to deliver integrated marketing activity that drives growth and strengthens relationships with their National Accounts, project teams and sector partners, all of which are B2B focused.
Focusing on events, sector campaigns and account-led activation, from online to offline, events, PR and sponsorship - this role will turn events and commercial opportunities into measurable multi-channel campaigns, ensuring consistent brand presence and excellent stakeholder execution across paid, owned and earned channels.
Key responsibilities for the role:
- Supporting the Marketing Manager in planning and delivering integrated campaigns for National Accounts across key sectors.
- Bringing events such as roadshows, supplier days, trade shows and account briefings to life through pre- and post-event communications, lead generation, digital activity and follow-up campaigns.
- Coordinating the creation of campaign and event content, working with creative teams on everything from case studies and product stories to presentations, speaker assets, photography and video.
- Keeping campaigns on track by managing timelines, campaign plans and asset libraries, ensuring activity is delivered on time and consistently across channels.
- Working closely with the Digital Marketing team to coordinate paid activity across channels including paid social and PPC, ensuring campaigns are well briefed and aligned.
- Taking ownership of campaign content across owned digital channels, including creating and publishing landing pages, microsites and website content through the CMS.
- Supporting email and CRM campaigns by developing content, managing landing pages and working with the Digital and CRM teams to ensure activity aligns with customer journeys.
- Monitoring campaign performance and pulling together key owned-channel metrics, including website traffic, form submissions and content engagement, using insights to highlight opportunities and improvements to the Marketing Manager.
- Building strong relationships with National Account Managers, project teams and suppliers, acting as a key day-to-day contact to gather briefs, coordinate activity and manage approvals.
- Working with internal branch and commercial teams to help amplify campaigns and events across regional teams.
- Co-ordinating with external agencies, venues and suppliers to ensure event logistics, marketing materials and on-site branding are delivered smoothly.

About You:
You want to progress your career in a company that values you and will recognise the effort that you put into your work.
You enjoy collaborating in a team, but can also work on your own steam and are not scared to voice your ideas.
You have a background within marketing or account management – perhaps you are currently a Marketing Assistant or Marketing Executive or Account Executive within a marketing agency, they will be open to the background of this individual.
You have ideally worked on B2B, trade or retail accounts in your previous roles
You have great communication skills across written, spoken and face to face
Please note - this role is based in Durham, North East England. Before applying, please ensure that you are able to commute to the office for a minimum of 4 days per week.
