About The Role
Are you a creative, detail-driven Marketing Executive who loves bringing brands to life across every customer touchpoint?
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Customer team at Dobbies' Central Support Office in Lasswade, leading the marketing communications that connect our brand with millions of customers: in-store, online and everywhere in between.
This is a hands-on, 360° marketing role covering campaign planning, point of sale (POS), print, packaging, digital content, and social. Perfect for someone who thrives on variety and wants real input into how a nationwide retail brand shows up to its customers.
You'll be the vital link between creative studios, external agencies, digital teams, and stores; turning big campaign ideas into brilliantly executed, on-brand communications that drive footfall, conversion and engagement.
What you'll be doing
Campaign & Content Delivery
- Develop standout customer messaging and communications across every part of the business
- Partner with the Head of Campaigns & In-Store Communications to plan campaigns and build the messaging and assets to bring them to life
- Brief and manage the in-house Studio on design, artwork and print specifications for POS and print materials
- Brief external agencies across print, POS, digital screens, email, social media and packaging
- Brief content and photography teams on lifestyle photography and video content for multi-channel use
Cross-Functional & Digital Collaboration
- Work closely with Commercial, Ops and Finance teams on range reviews, mock shop set-ups, store set-up guides and wider store communications
- Support Commercial teams on new product launches and promotions from development through to in-store execution, POS and packaging
- Partner with the Digital team on homepage call-outs, campaign landing pages and "how-to"/advice content
- Support the PR function with messaging, content and campaign assets
Process, Brand & Budget Ownership
- Write clear, concise briefing documents, supplier guidelines and store communications for every campaign, print run and POS/packaging project
- Maintain the company trade plan, ensuring fully integrated, multi-channel campaigns aligned to key commercial dates
- Manage creative and print sign-off, budget tracking, approvals and PO raising
- Act as brand guardian: championing brand guidelines and tone of voice across every channel
