The Company

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join one of the global market leaders in potato products to the foodservice sector. We are one of the largest manufacturers of potato products globally and currently hold a significant market share within Europe. Established for almost 50 years we have continually proved ourselves to have a strong ranged based on competitive pricing but most of all consistently high quality of produce.

Through our European new product development team we are able to implement an innovative approach to the market both in relation to nutrition and current market buying trends. Our innovative and forward thinking marketing team allow us to effectively promote our brands across all channels, both independently and in partnership with our clients.

We have demonstrated strong success across the Foodservice sector and have ambitious plans to develop further in the next 12 months.

The Role

This position involves responsibility for promotion and marketing of our brands to our key National distribution partners. We work with 100s of distribution partners but have several with fast food/foodservice distribution who are key strategic partners, so a large part of this role will be creating and managing joint marketing strategies with these customers.

The role involves Digital areas including managing email content, social media, SEO and email campaigns. It also involves a high element of trade marketing including working on content creation, initiating promotions, launching European central product promotions across the UK, and managing towards a promotional calendar.

The key emphasis of the role is to promote our products as effectively as possible with our key wholesale partners – and involves a pro-active marketing approach. This is a significant and important role within both our marketing and commercial structure.

The Applicant

The successful candidate will be from a marketing background and passionate about the food and hospitality sector.

Candidates must have experience in a Business to Business marketing capacity. Experience in working in product based marketing will be advantageous. Candidates can be from any B2B industries – but experience in Food, Foodservice, FMCG will be advantageous. Candidates with trade, brand management and content creation marketing areas are of strong interest.

Candidates must be passionate about the food and hospitality sector and excited about the prospect of marketing products into this area.
