We’re Practice Made Purrfect

We’re Practice Made Purrfect, a young, vibrant business consultancy and marketing agency – and we’re looking for a marketing executive to help us develop and improve our offering to veterinary practices.

As just the fifth full-time member of our passionate team, you’ll have a fantastic opportunity to learn, develop experience and grow your role, while working across a varied brief.

Our Team

Our team consists of founder and CEO Justin, business consultant Andy, senior marketing exec Fika and marketing exec Heather. We chat weekly with each of our clients, diagnose and dissect problems – and once we have the solutions we bring the work in house to get it sorted. You’ll be helping us with the sorting.

You’ll be the kind of person who’s equally happy knuckling down creating asset templates and creative content or phoning up suppliers chasing quotes and managing projects.

About Us

We’re fully remote which places even more importance on our ability to work independently but also to fit into the culture of a busy, thriving agency with the stated aim to be the best veterinary marketing team on the planet. That’s a big claim but we believe our work backs it up – check out our website to see if you agree.

You’ll be a positive, proactive individual who is curious, resourceful and a quick learner. It’s a hands-on role for someone who enjoys content, creativity and building relationships.

We’re not necessarily looking for the finished product, but we do want somebody who is eager to learn, grow and develop.

A strong grasp of grammar and spelling, confident social skills and comfort working across digital platforms and tools is essential. We’re also looking for someone who is confident in using AI, with an understanding of when it is and isn’t appropriate, and how to maintain standards while driving efficiency.

The Kind of Person Who Will Thrive Here

  • You’re self-sufficient and comfortable taking ownership of tasks
  • You’re positive, proactive, and you bring ideas rather than waiting for instructions
  • You’re confident asking questions and eager to learn – and then you make that knowledge your own, using it to grow and develop, without needing to ask the same question twice
  • You enjoy building relationships and are happy working one-on-one with clients
  • You’re curious and resourceful, using tutorials, AI tools and research to solve problems
  • You’re organised, dependable and comfortable working in a small team where the role will inevitably evolve as we grow
  • You don’t need experience of the vet industry – but a love of pets does help!

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
