About Rommbic
Rommbic is a specialist recruitment firm for the construction products industry, founded in 2018 and based in London. The business works on a retained search basis across building materials, offsite and modern methods of construction, building envelope, fenestration, and paints and coatings. Clients are manufacturers, suppliers, and merchants across the UK and Ireland, and roles range from field and internal sales to senior and board appointments. Rommbic operates three divisions: Sales and Sales Support, Supply Chain, and Technical and Design.
The company was founded to raise the standard of recruitment in a sector historically served by high-volume contingent agencies.
The Role
Rommbic is hiring a Marketing Executive to take ownership of marketing across the business, reporting directly to the Managing Director. The role covers the full marketing mix for a specialist search firm. On the candidate side, that means attracting sales, technical, and supply chain professionals in a sector where the best people are rarely job hunting. On the client side, it means keeping Rommbic front of mind with manufacturers and suppliers, and supporting business development with credible content and market insight.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
