Job description
Foley’s Faster Payments is a fast-growing card payment provider. Due to our rapid expansion and upcoming rebrand, we now have an opportunity for an experienced Marketing Executive to join the team.
This role is offered on a freelance basis for 2 set days per week, supporting the ongoing growth of the business. The role will be office-based in Altrincham, Manchester, with the two working days to be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate.
It may particularly suit someone with marketing experience who is looking for part-time freelance work, additional income, or a flexible opportunity to return to work while contributing to an ambitious and growing company. The role would suit someone who is comfortable working independently and proactively suggesting marketing ideas to support business growth.
We are looking for a creative and talented individual who can grow with the company and help carry us forward in the merchant services world.
FFP has gone through a recent restructuring and has formed a new pathway to sustain the already significant recent growth. We have big ambitions and are looking for people who want to be part of one of the most progressive companies within our industry.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
