Marketing Executive - Newburn
J T Dove Limited are the leading independent builders’ merchants covering North East England, The Scottish Borders, Cumbria and Teesside. Operating for over 150 years from our network of 21 branches we offer a comprehensive stock range of timber and building supplies, heating and plumbing materials, as well as kitchens and bathrooms. We go above and beyond for our customers, building lasting relationships by putting the customer first and ensuring we deliver what you need on time and in full.
As the Marketing Executive, you will support the delivery of the company's marketing strategy, with a particular focus on social media, email marketing, content creation and graphic design. The Marketing Executive will be responsible for creating engaging, on-brand content across our marketing channels, supporting digital and offline campaigns and helping to increase brand awareness, customer engagement and sales.
Main Duties
- Plan, create and schedule engaging content across our social media channels
- Manage the day-to-day social media content calendar and maintain a consistent brand voice
- Create, build and schedule email marketing campaigns
- Produce and edit high-quality video content
- Support the design and production of printed marketing materials
- Support the planning and delivery of wider marketing campaigns
- Contribute creative ideas and content to support marketing objectives
- Monitor social media and email performance and provide insights and recommendations
- Work closely with the Marketing Manager and wider team to ensure marketing activity is delivered accurately, consistently and on time
- Keep up to date with relevant marketing & content trends
- Undertake other relevant marketing activities as required

Ideal Candidate
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a marketing, social media, or similar role
- Demonstrable experience creating and managing social media content
- Experience creating and managing email marketing campaigns
- Strong copywriting and communication skills
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop and InDesign
- Strong graphic design skills, with experience producing artwork for both digital and print
- Experience creating and editing short-form video content
- Good understanding of social media platforms and current content trends
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Ability to work independently while taking direction and feedback
- Full UK driving licence
