Marketing Executive
Location: Isle of Wight (Hybrid working – minimum 2 days on-site)
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexibility required for events/meeting)
Pertemps are currently recruiting for a commercially minded Customer Marketing Executive to join a leading business based on the Isle of Wight.
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving brand visibility, rate of sale, and growth across off-trade and wholesale customers.
Responsibilities as a Marketing Executive:
- Customer Activation: Develop and execute tailored activation plans across grocery, premium retail, wholesale, and e-commerce/pureplay channels.
- Commercial Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales team on joint business plans (JBPs), key customer meetings, and strategic growth opportunities.
- Brand & Asset Management: Manage POS materials, digital assets, and customer-facing marketing content to ensure brand consistency and commercial impact.
- Gifting Strategy: Lead the day-to-day management of the gifting portfolio and assist in developing new gifting propositions.
- Insights & ROI: Utilize category, shopper, and competitor insights to make data-driven recommendations. Track marketing budgets, investment, and campaign ROI.
- Broader Marketing Support: Provide hands-on assistance across social media, e-commerce search visibility, and wider team initiatives while sharing best practices across Sales and Marketing.

Requirements:
- Experience: 1–2+ years in customer, trade, or shopper marketing (FMCG, spirits, or drinks industry preferred).
- Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of UK off-trade, wholesale, and online retail landscapes, with a proven ability to balance customer needs with brand growth.
- Skills & Mindset: Excellent organizational and project management skills with a proactive, collaborative approach.
- Social Media Skills: Understanding of social media with a willingness to provide hands-on support.
- Communication: Clear, confident communicator comfortable engaging both internal cross-functional teams and external retail partners.
- Flexibility: Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally for client meetings, customer sites, and events.
