Marketing Manager

Alchem Partners are excited to be engaged as the search partner to a World Class manufacturer and supplier of surfactants and associated chemicals for the personal care, cosmetics, HI&I and many industrial applications. Our client is also recognised as a foremost contract and toll manufacturer, offering an impressive wide range of chemical manufacturing capabilities on behalf of its global customer base.

Our client seeks to recruit a Marketing Manager to play a key role in its continued growth and development.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on, working closely with commercial teams and making a genuine impact on business performance. The successful candidate will work closely with the Commercial Director and wider sales team, you'll take ownership of the marketing strategy, helping to strengthen the company's market presence, generate new business opportunities and support its ambitious growth plans.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and delivering a marketing strategy aligned with commercial objectives.
  • Creating targeted B2B campaigns to generate leads and support business development.
  • Working closely with sales and technical teams to identify new markets, customers and opportunities.
  • Managing digital marketing activity, including the website, LinkedIn, email campaigns and online content.
  • Developing engaging marketing materials, product literature and commercial presentations.
  • Taking ownership of exhibitions, industry events and associated marketing activity.
  • Supporting new product launches and market development initiatives.
  • Monitoring competitor activity, industry trends and emerging opportunities.
  • Using CRM systems and marketing data to track performance, measure success and improve results.
  • Managing external agencies and suppliers where required.

Key Personal Requirements

  • Proven experience within a B2B marketing role.
  • Experience developing and implementing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • A strong understanding of lead generation and how marketing supports sales.
  • Experience managing digital marketing, content and communications.
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to measure marketing performance.
  • Experience within manufacturing, chemicals, technical products or a related industry would be advantageous.
