We are currently recruiting for two Marketing Executive opportunities within the Live Events team:
- One permanent, full-time opportunity
- One 6-month fixed-term, full-time opportunity

Working within the Live Events team
Haymarket Business Media's Live Events team delivers a diverse portfolio of market-leading awards, conferences, and industry events across Haymarket Media Communications and Haymarket Professional brands. Bringing together professional communities through high-quality live experiences, the team plays a key role in strengthening audience engagement, supporting commercial growth, and enhancing the reputation of Haymarket's brands.
Working as part of the wider marketing function, the Marketing Executive supports the planning and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns that drive audience engagement, registrations, and award entries across Campaign, PR Week, Third Sector, Windpower, Planning, and more. The role works closely with Marketing Managers and cross-functional teams, including Events, Commercial, Editorial, and Brand teams, to deliver effective marketing activity that contributes to the success of Haymarket's live events portfolio.
The Role
The Marketing Executive supports the planning and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across Haymarket's Live Events portfolio. Working closely with the Marketing Manager and wider marketing team, the role is responsible for delivering engaging multi-channel campaigns that drive audience engagement, delegate registrations, and award entries.
This role contributes to the success of the Live Events business by producing high-quality marketing activity, supporting campaign performance, and collaborating with a range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer experiences. As with all event-focused roles, occasional evening attendance will be required to support the delivery of live events.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of integrated multi-channel marketing campaigns across conferences, awards, and forums.
- Write, proofread, and coordinate marketing content across email, social media, websites, digital advertising, and other promotional channels.
- Build, execute, and monitor email marketing campaigns, including campaign reporting and post-event analysis.
- Manage social media activity across relevant platforms to maximize audience engagement and campaign performance.
- Assist in the delivery of marketing campaigns for high-profile live events, ensuring activity is delivered on time and to a high standard.
- Analyse audience data and campaign performance to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Maintain and utilize customer marketing databases to support effective campaign targeting.
- Support the creation and maintenance of event websites and landing pages, ensuring content remains accurate and engaging.
- Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, including Editorial, Commercial, Design, Data, and Production teams, as well as external agencies and suppliers.
- Provide administrative and operational support to ensure the successful delivery of the Live Events portfolio.
- Attend live events as required, including occasional evening attendance.

Key Relationships
- Builds and maintains effective working relationships with the wider Live Events Marketing team, cross-functional stakeholders, and external agencies to support the successful delivery of integrated marketing campaigns.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Knowledge
- Knowledge of marketing principles and campaign delivery.
- Understanding of digital marketing channels including email and social media.
- Awareness of customer data, audience segmentation, and campaign reporting.
- Understanding of content management systems and website maintenance.
- Knowledge of the B2B media, publishing, or events industry is desirable.
Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work.
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative copywriting skills across a range of marketing channels.
- Ability to analyze campaign performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Experience
- Some experience supporting marketing campaigns through employment, internships, or work placements.
- Confident in creating marketing content across a range of digital channels.
- Experience working collaboratively within a team environment.
- Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet competing deadlines.
- Familiarity with marketing platforms, CRM systems, or content management systems is desirable.
