The Role
This role exists to give TALO the capacity to use the full range of B2B marketing channels and best practice to drive sales enquiries, build trust and awareness in the brand, and to support the company's ambitious plans for growth.
Working closely with, and reporting to, the Marketing Director, the Marketing Executive will work on the delivery and implementation of a wide range of B2B marketing projects and initiatives across multiple channels – and from content production and design through to branding and analytics.
The role sits at the operational heart of the marketing function: producing high-quality collateral, running day-to-day management of TALO’s website and social channels, and maintaining the reporting and analytics that let the business evaluate what is working. This is a fast-paced, hands-on and delivery-focused role that turns strategic direction from the Marketing Director into consistent, high-quality outcomes that will elevate the TALO brand.
Key Responsibilities
Copywriting and Content Generation
- Writing announcements for the website and LinkedIn
- Producing case studies – research, writing, and images, and managing customer and third-party approvals and director-level interviews
- Producing marketing documents as needed to support the wider business
- Assisting with award entry production and supporting material
- Gathering customer insight and developing testimonials; managing approvals processes
- Producing brochures
Branding and Design
- Providing an in-house resource for graphic design and artwork using InDesign and Canva – templates, brochures, case studies, marketing documents, LinkedIn graphics, emailers, exhibition panels, presentation slide decks for business development and technical documents
- Working with TALO’s external graphic design partners where required; proofreading and checking content against briefs to ensure accuracy
- Managing consistent use of the TALO brand by staff and third parties, including sharing brand assets and monitoring correct usage

Social Media
- Managing the LinkedIn posting calendar, content generation, posting, engagement and monitoring
- Supporting director profile management, including posting in tone of voice and contact building
- Monitoring LinkedIn analytics
- Populating YouTube with new video content to optimise visibility
- Managing and posting to Instagram
Website
- Day-to-day management of the website and adding new content as required
- Supporting the delivery of a brand new website
- Monitoring website analytics
- Delivering new web content to increase visibility in AI search
Reporting and Performance Monitoring
- Tracking marketing KPIs and maintaining the marketing calendar
- Producing and managing a monthly marketing performance dashboard
- Logging and monitoring enquiry sources for evaluation
- Running Google Analytics reporting to monitor website performance
- Providing day-to-day support to external marketing partners and agencies on live projects
Direct Marketing
- Maintaining the marketing database, ensuring accurate segmentation by business type and job title to facilitate digital communications and targeted mailings
- Producing a quarterly newsletter/emailer programme – copywriting, production, mailing and evaluation
Events and Exhibitions
- Organising event logistics and display material
- Liaising with external suppliers and partners as required
- Supporting the production of high-quality slide decks for commercial and sales presentations that take a thought leadership stance
- Attending events if required
What Success Looks Like
- Developing outstanding, interesting content that targets Director-level prospects, influencers and stakeholders and positions TALO in a completely different light in UK construction and housebuilding
- LinkedIn engagement and follower growth that trend upwards and reflect TALO's marketing messaging and mission consistently
- Agreed marketing projects are delivered on time and to a high standard, with the Marketing Director able to delegate with confidence
- Website visitor numbers and engagement growth, supported by accurate, well-maintained analytics reporting
- Case studies and testimonials are produced regularly, to a high standard with complete clarity in messaging and customer’s tone of voice to support and reinforce business development and build trust in the TALO brand
- The monthly dashboard and enquiry-source reporting give the leadership team a reliable, trusted view of marketing performance
- Newsletter and direct marketing metrics (open rates, engagement, database accuracy) improve over time

Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Essential
We are looking for demonstrated ability in:
- B2B marketing, ideally of a more technical nature
- Content creation and copywriting for multiple channels
- Excellent communications skills and the ability to work collaboratively at every level – from taking direction to representing TALO’s interests with business leaders at our customers as well as suppliers and agency partners
- Understanding of strategic marketing messaging and how this is reflected across all marketing assets
- Graphic design and artworking, with proficiency in InDesign
- Hands-on management of LinkedIn and Instagram for a technical B2B brand, including content generation and analytics
- Website content development, updates and management and use of Google Analytics or equivalent reporting tools and understanding of SEO and AEO
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently
Desirable
Candidates who bring some but not all of the following are encouraged to apply:
- Experience in construction, housebuilding, property or a related built-environment sector – or a B2B company with technical products or services
- Video content production and editing experience
- Experience managing a marketing database or CRM for segmentation and email marketing

- Work collaboratively across the business, and directly with customers, suppliers and strategic partners
- Is proactive in spotting marketing opportunities and flagging them to the Marketing Director
- Focuses on delivery and holding themselves and their work to a high standard
- Close attention to detail applied to every marketing task and project to help elevate the TALO brand and reflect its values.
