About Us
Willerby - it’s our name and is a core component of who we are. We’re so proud of our legacy and to have grown from manufacturing in a tiny village nearby to our sprawling 90-acre site in Hull today. Our goal has always been and always will be dedication to detail and creating a quality product.

About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Marketing Executive to join our team on a maternity cover basis. You will play a vital role in executing our marketing strategy by managing our digital presence, creating engaging content, and supporting our wider commercial team at events across the UK. This role is ideal for a proactive marketeer who is comfortable working across multiple platforms and is passionate about driving brand engagement with our diverse range of audiences.
Key Responsibilities

- Digital Campaigns: Write, build, and schedule email campaigns (e-campaigns) tailored to our varied stakeholder groups, including trade customers, consumers, Willerby Owners Club members, and internal staff.
- Marketing Collateral: Utilise Canva to create high-quality marketing literature and promotional materials that align with our brand guidelines.
- Website Maintenance: Act as a key administrator for our website, using WordPress CMS to ensure content is up-to-date, accurate, and optimised for our visitors.
- Events & Shows: Support the wider marketing and commercial function by assisting with the planning and execution of trade and consumer shows. This may involve some travel to various locations across the UK, including occasional overnight stays.
- General Marketing Support: Contribute to the overall delivery of marketing KPIs, ensuring projects are effective and delivered on time to support the wider strategic marketing plan.
- Admin Support: Support incoming enquiries to Willerby via phone and the marketing inbox - answering queries appropriately or directing them accordingly.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
