Marketing Executive (Membership and Profession)

Salary: c£38,000
Location: London/Hybrid
Hours: 35 hours per week. 12-month FTC

We're looking for an experienced and proactive Marketing Executive to join our Membership Marketing team.

About the Role

This role is central to helping RIBA attract, retain and engage members throughout their member lifecycle. Working closely with colleagues across Membership Experience, Digital and Communications, you'll lead the planning and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns that support membership growth, increase engagement with member benefits and services, encourage participation in our professional offering, and deliver an effective programme of member communications.

As the day-to-day marketing lead for a range of projects and campaigns, you'll work with stakeholders across the organisation, using audience insight, data and creative thinking to deliver measurable results and a positive member experience.

What are we looking for?

Essential

  • Experience planning and delivering integrated marketing campaigns that have achieved measurable engagement, acquisition, retention or commercial objectives.
  • Experience managing marketing activity across multiple channels, including email marketing, web content and social media.
  • Strong copywriting and content creation skills, with experience producing marketing communications for different audiences and channels.
  • Experience using marketing data, audience insight and performance reporting to evaluate and optimise campaign effectiveness.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously, delivering work to deadlines and agreed objectives.

Desirable

  • Experience working within a membership organisation, professional body, charity, higher education or professional services environment.
  • Understanding of customer journey, lifecycle, retention and engagement marketing principles.
  • Experience using CRM, CMS and marketing automation platforms.
  • Professional marketing qualification and/or commitment to continuing professional development.
  • Strong relationship-building, influencing and stakeholder management skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach.
