Location: London Broadcasting House - Agile; 1 day per week in the office (3 working days per week: Wednesday - Friday)
Proposed Salary Range: £30,000 - £40,000 (FTE) depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

Interview Process
2 stages of 45-minute each consisting of Values and Behaviours-based competency and technical questions.
Purpose of the Role
An exciting opportunity to join the BBC’s marketing team and work on some of the UK’s most prestigious news brands. As a Marketing Executive, you will play a key role in creating and delivering marketing communication campaigns that grow our programmes and build a relationship with our audience. The role is 3 days per week and you will work alongside another Marketing Executive in a job-sharing arrangement.

Why Join the Team
The News Marketing Team is responsible for helping to grow News’ biggest brands as well as working alongside editorial colleagues to introduce a new generation of audiences to our news content. You’ll be able to grow your skills working across a wide portfolio of brands and stakeholders, with a diverse mix of media channels. You are part of a small team so your voice will be heard and influence decisions being made. You will also have opportunities for growth as part of the wider BBC marketing community.
Your Key Responsibilities And Impact
- Oversee creation and delivery of marketing assets for both major and BAU marketing campaigns. This covers a wide range of channels such as TV, pre-roll, social, radio, and CRM.
- Work closely with digital and CRM teams on programme selection and promotion.
- Own timing and delivery requirements across projects.
- Leading, alongside media and CRM teams, creation of reports analysing performance and suggestion improvements.
- Understanding and owning compliance processes.
- Managing relationships with internal stakeholders, especially our internal creative and media teams.
Essential Criteria
Your Skills and Experience
- Demonstrable experience of creating and delivering marketing assets or campaigns across multiple channels, gained within a marketing team, creative agency or comparable environment.
- Demonstrable experience of managing multiple marketing activities or projects simultaneously, including working to production plans and deadlines, with strong organisation and attention to detail.
- Demonstrable understanding of News and Current Affairs audiences, and how marketing can be used to engage audiences with news content.
- Experience of analysing campaign or audience performance data and using insights to make clear, actionable recommendations that improve marketing activity.
- Demonstrable experience of building effective working relationships with multiple stakeholders, including collaborating across teams to manage requirements, priorities and delivery.
