Lead Generation and Campaign Lead
The Role
We are seeking a proactive, results-driven Marketing Executive with 4–5 years’ hands-on B2B marketing experience and a strong background in lead generation and campaign execution. Experience within the civil engineering, construction, or technical building products sector is strongly preferred.
Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving demand, building pipeline, and keeping specifiers, contractors, and engineers engaged throughout the buyer’s journey. From executing multi-channel inbound campaigns and managing targeted lead-nurturing workflows to translating complex geosynthetic and drainage engineering into high-converting marketing assets, you will directly support company growth and sales enablement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Campaign Execution: Plan, execute, and track multi-channel inbound/outbound marketing campaigns designed to capture high-value sales leads across the civil engineering and infrastructure sectors.
- Lead Nurturing & CRM Management: Develop automated email sequences, targeted content streams, and segmented communication workflows in our CRM/marketing systems to guide prospects through the sales pipeline.
- Technical Copywriting & Content Strategy: Work alongside internal technical experts to turn complex civil engineering concepts into high-converting blog posts, case studies, technical whitepapers, and product datasheets.
- Email Marketing & Data Segmentation: Build, test, and optimise targeted email campaigns; maintain clean contact data and segment lists by sector, project type, and buyer role.
- Graphic Design & Sales Collateral: Produce professional marketing materials, product brochures, pitch decks, and digital assets using Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Digital, Social & Multimedia Content: Create and schedule engaging content across corporate social channels and produce short-form video/multimedia content to showcase projects, product applications, and site trials.
- PR, Events & Exhibitions: Coordinate trade press editorial, press releases, and promotional logistics for industry events and exhibitions to capture on-site leads.
- Performance Reporting & ROI: Collate campaign performance data, analyse lead capture metrics, and report on conversion trends to continuously optimise marketing activity.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
