Board Intelligence is a technology and advisory firm on a mission to make boards more effective, and through them, build better businesses and benefit society.
Over twenty years we have established ourselves as the market leader in governance and board effectiveness, trusted by more than 80,000 directors, executives, and governance professionals globally, including across the Fortune 500, FTSE 100, and OMX 30. That trust has been earned through depth of insight, rigorous advisory work, and a track record that newer entrants simply cannot replicate.
We have invested in applied AI since 2020, well ahead of the market, and that early conviction has paid off. Our AI-powered platform and smart board advisor give us a competitive advantage that is widening, not narrowing. In 2024, K1 Investment Management, the leading B2B Enterprise SaaS investor, backed us to accelerate that position further. We are now growing fast, with a proven commercial model spanning both mid-market and enterprise, and a product suite that has become a necessary addition in high-stakes board environments.
The people joining us now will shape how we scale. We are deliberate about how we do that. Our founders and leadership team are deeply invested in keeping the culture that got us here: thoughtful, high calibre, and genuinely human. Ambition and balance are not in competition at Board Intelligence.
If you want to work at the intersection of AI and governance, on problems that matter at the highest level, this is a strong place to be.
Our Mission
We unleash the potential of organisations through the science of board effectiveness, building better businesses and benefitting society.
The Role
We are looking for a Marketing Executive to run new logo acquisition campaigns end to end, from brief and targeting through to live execution and results read out. This is a role for someone early in their marketing career who combines strong campaign delivery instincts with genuine curiosity about AI and a clear understanding of how marketing activity connects to commercial outcomes.
You will deliver multi-channel campaigns across paid, organic social, email and events, write the messaging and creative, build and publish campaign pages, and report clearly on what is and is not generating MQLs. It is a broad, cross-functional role that keeps the top-of-funnel engine moving.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Main Responsibilities
- Run new logo acquisition campaigns end to end, from brief and targeting through to live execution and results read out.
- Deliver multi-channel campaigns across paid support, organic social, email and events, keeping the top-of-funnel engine moving.
- Run ICP-targeted outbound campaigns in partnership with Sales, building the sequences, assets and targeting.
- Write campaign messaging and creative, including ad copy, social posts and landing page copy, drafting and iterating yourself and bringing in designers or writers where a piece needs specialist craft.
- Produce the email copy and creative for campaigns, working with the CRM and Email Marketing Executive, who owns the build, scheduling and send.
- Build and publish campaign and landing pages, and keep campaign content current in the CMS.
- Coordinate events, including webinars, virtual events and industry presence, covering both logistics and promotion.
- Report on campaign performance weekly and monthly across acquisition channels, with clear read outs on what is and is not generating MQLs.
- Use AI across the campaign lifecycle, whether researching accounts, drafting and testing variants, or analysing performance, applying judgement about where it adds value and where it does not.
- Maintain UTM hygiene and the basic marketing operations needed to keep tracking clean across the campaigns you run.
Person Specification
For the right candidate, brilliant talent at the start of their career with no prior marketing experience would be considered. Otherwise, 1 to 3 years in a B2B marketing role, ideally SaaS or technology, though relevant experience in other sectors is considered.
Our audience is senior and discerning: Company Secretaries, General Counsel, and Board Directors at some of the largest organisations in the world. Credibility matters more than volume in everything we publish, and you will work close to confidential client material, so judgement about how and where you use AI is part of the role.
Campaign strategy sits with the Director of Growth Marketing, and email as a channel sits with the CRM and Email Marketing Executive.
Required Skills and Experience
- Ability to manage campaigns end to end, across briefing, coordination, copywriting and reporting.
- Strong written communication, comfortable drafting ad copy, social posts, emails and briefs.
- Genuine curiosity about AI, with practical understanding of how it can be applied to campaign research, drafting, testing and analysis. Able to describe specifically how you have used it and what it changed about your output.
- Sound judgement about where AI belongs, given the confidential nature of the client and board material we work with.
- Analytical and evidence driven, comfortable reading campaign data and using it to decide what to do next, rather than only to describe what has happened.
- Organised and proactive, able to manage multiple workstreams without dropping balls.
- Collaborative, as this role works across many teams.
- Appetite to learn quickly, with the ability to reflect on what has not worked and adjust.

- You use AI as a normal part of how you work, and you can explain what it has changed about your output.
- You read your own campaign data and act on it, rather than reporting it and moving on.
- You know when a piece of work needs a designer or a specialist writer, and when it does not.
- You keep several campaigns moving at once without losing the detail.
- You can name something that has not worked and what you changed because of it.
