PROPOSED SALARY RANGE

£30,000 - £37,000 (plus London Weighting) depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Join a high performing marketing team at the heart of the BBC, delivering campaigns that connect audiences with some of the UK’s best-loved shows. This role offers the opportunity to deliver world class marketing campaigns, shape creative output and work closely with editorial, product, creative and media teams.

WHY JOIN THE TEAM

As Marketing Executive, Scripted Content Marketing, you'll deliver high-impact, audience-focused campaigns across some of the BBC's biggest content brands. Working in a collaborative environment alongside editorial, creative, media, social and product teams, you'll be responsible for end-to-end campaign delivery, ensuring that we deliver highly impactful campaigns in an integrated, timely, and effective manner.

Your Key Responsibilities And Impact

  • Responsible for developing briefs for campaigns that deliver against strategic (recall, consumption, perception, talkability) across multiple media and platforms.
  • Review and assess the creative response to brief, feeding back to develop the creative further.
  • Review of media plan for campaigns, and assesses suitability against campaign brief.
  • Responsible for the delivery of all creative assets in a timely way.
  • Responsible for the necessary compliance of all marketing and communications activity, following BBC Editorial Guidelines.
  • Contribute to regular campaign evaluations with colleagues; feed back results to the wider team and stakeholders; and apply learnings to future campaigns.

Essential Criteria

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience delivering integrated multi-media marketing campaigns, managing all stages from initial brief through to implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong project and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead collaboration across organisational boundaries and build effective relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence, engage, and convey complex information clearly to a range of audiences.
  • Analytical and strategic thinker, able to critically evaluate ideas, interpret information, make informed decisions, and drive improvements to working practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead campaigns and teams in a complex matrix environment, effectively managing competing priorities, resources, deadlines, and performance targets.

Desirable

  • Experience of / demonstrable passion for TV and the TV industry
