We are a leading hair and beauty brand manufacturing company, known for our innovative, high-quality products and dedication to customer satisfaction. With over 40 years of experience working with some of the best people and brands in the industry, we are continuing to grow our team and are looking for a talented marketing professional to join us.
We are seeking a creative, commercially minded, and highly organized Marketing Executive to play an important role in developing the marketing and digital presence of brands within the Hive of Beauty company, including but not limited to Hive®, +maskology® and The Knot Dr®.
This is a full-time office-based position and is a hands-on role with social media and content creation at its core, but with involvement across the wider marketing mix. You will have the opportunity to work across multiple brands, audiences, and channels, helping to develop their presence, communicate their identity, and ultimately support their commercial growth.
We are looking for someone who can bring creative ideas to the table, but also turn those ideas into well-planned, well-executed marketing activity.
You will be given responsibility and creative freedom, but will also need to be highly organized, able to manage competing priorities, and comfortable working to agreed deadlines and objectives. You will be expected to take ownership of your work while keeping your line manager informed of progress, priorities, results, and any issues requiring attention.
The Role
- Contribute to the development and execution of the overall marketing strategy.
- Own the planning, creation, and execution of monthly content calendars across multiple brands and channels.
- Manage multiple brands, projects, and deadlines simultaneously, ensuring marketing activity is prioritized, organized, and delivered on time.
- Create engaging, relevant content for email campaigns, with a focus on driving engagement and revenue.
- Develop and execute creative campaigns that are engaging, commercially focused, and consistent with each brand's identity.
- Communicate brand, campaign, and digital marketing updates to key internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct ongoing market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities across social media, email, and wider digital marketing channels.
- Develop creative content plans tailored to each brand's target audience, objectives, and tone of voice.
- Manage and prioritize your own workload, providing regular updates to your line manager on progress, priorities, results, and any issues requiring attention.
- Actively grow and develop social communities, identifying relevant influencers and supporting the planning and management of influencer campaigns and collaborations.
- Plan, manage, and monitor promotional activity and paid social campaigns, using performance data to optimize results and maximize return on investment.
- Conduct competitor and market analysis, benchmarking relevant brands, and translating findings into actionable recommendations to improve our brands' social and digital strategies.
- Identify new opportunities, trends, and ideas that could strengthen brand awareness, engagement, and commercial performance.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
