Role Profile: Marketing Executive

Team: Client Partnerships

Salary: £30,000 FTE

Hours: 22.5 hours per week, ideally worked over 3 full days (Monday-Wednesday), with flexibility for the right candidate.

Location: Hybrid/remote working with occasional office attendance as required for meetings. Office location is Birmingham City Centre

Role Purpose:

To support our growing team, this role will deliver effective marketing campaigns that promote Auriga Services alongside supporting B2C marketing campaigns on behalf of our clients. Working across a range of brands, the role will support the development of engaging multi-channel marketing content, helping to build audience engagement, support client objectives and the wider organisational strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns (including email, web, print and social media) to support business growth, promoting our range of services to targeted audiences (B2B).
  • Support the planning and delivery of B2C marketing campaigns on behalf of our clients, across a range of channels.
  • Write engaging, on brand communications for a range of marketing materials, tailored to different audiences.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure marketing activity is effective.
  • Write and update website content, ensuring pages remain current and on brand.
  • Support monitoring and reporting on the performance of marketing activity, using data to inform future campaigns.
  • Support the wider team in delivering the client partnership objectives, contributing ideas and input as needed.
  • Support the creation and distribution of internal communications to keep staff informed and engaged

Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

Essential:

  • Previous experience in both B2B and B2C marketing and communications role
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas
  • Experience using Adobe CC
  • Experience planning and delivering marketing campaigns to promote services to a target audience using a mix of channels (including email, web, print and social media)
  • Strong copywriting and proofreading skills, with the ability to produce clear, engaging and on-brand marketing materials.
  • Confident working across a portfolio of brands, adapting the approach for each.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with experience working collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Desirable:

  • A degree in marketing, communications, design or related field.
  • Previous experience working in the charity/not-for-profit sector.
  • Confidence using data and insight to monitor engagement from target audiences and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing activity.
  • Experience using WordPress to update, maintain and create website content.
  • An understanding of UX and customer journey considerations.
