The Role / Position Overview

FT Specialist comprises 17 brands serving niche professional audiences with information that helps them make better decisions and operate more effectively. Its portfolio includes brands such as The Banker, Investors’ Chronicle, fDi, FTAdviser, PWM and Pensions Expert.

We are looking for an event marketing professional to work closely with the Senior Marketing and Project Manager to plan and deliver targeted, integrated marketing campaigns across the FT Specialist events portfolio.

You will help grow and engage our audiences, driving high-quality delegate registrations while increasing awareness of FT Specialist events. Working across print and digital channels, you will build on existing audience relationships, identify new opportunities for growth and help ensure our events attract the quality and seniority of delegates expected from the FT brand.

As part of the FT Specialist events team, you will support campaigns across the full event lifecycle. This includes building and maintaining event websites, briefing creative assets, delivering email, social, print and digital activity, handling relevant client communications, identifying prospective delegates and analysing campaign performance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
