Marketing Executive
We’re a forward-thinking, positive marketing team working for a specialist mortgage broker. The marketing executive will have a proactive, can-do attitude, a passion for marketing, with a matching personality, charm, and wit.
We have an exhaustive list of responsibilities and that requires an individual who knows how to plan, prioritise, spin a few plates at once, and crucially ask for help when needed. We don’t expect you to know everything but that creates a superb learning environment to grow in.
We work with a small intimate team and being office-based 5 days a week, with a work-from-home day to be discussed after probation, is a crucial component of the role. One minute you’ll be speaking to the MD, next you’ll be dipping into Photoshop.
There is a high expectation on the marketing team to deliver but we operate within a learn, test, optimise and grow mentality. All ideas are welcome.
The job description is below to give a flavour of the role. Strong copywriting skills are essential, and exposure to 75% of the job description is perfectly fine. We’re looking for the right blend of personality and talent to join at an exciting time in the company.
TL:DR We’re hiring for writing ability, attitude, pace and potential. We can teach the rest.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
