WE’RE HIRING: MARKETING EXECUTIVE | FOLKESTONE
£30,000 – £32,000 per annum | Full-time | Office-based
Are you an experienced marketing professional who wants more than simply ticking off a to-do list?
We’re looking for a Marketing Executive with a minimum of 5 years’ experience, to join our business in Folkestone.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is creative, commercially minded, proactive and confident working independently. You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of a broad range of marketing activity and play an important part in increasing our visibility, strengthening our brand presence and driving awareness across the market.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be involved across the full range of our marketing activity, including:
- Developing and delivering creative marketing campaigns
- Supporting and updating our websites and online content
- Managing SEO activity and identifying opportunities to improve search visibility
- Researching and writing blogs and website content
- Creating regular social media content and updates
- Creating and managing Google Ads campaigns
- Developing and managing email marketing campaigns
- Updating products, services and information across our websites
- Ensuring consistent messaging, branding and product information across our sister company websites
- Helping to identify new ways to increase awareness, engagement and reach
- Supporting the wider business with marketing ideas and initiatives
- Monitoring marketing activity and measuring results

We’re looking for someone who can look at what we currently do and ask:

What we’re looking for:
You’ll ideally have:
- 5+ years’ marketing experience
- Experience across digital marketing, content and communications
- Good working knowledge of SEO, Google Ads, social media and email marketing
- Experience managing website content and product updates
- Excellent written communication skills
- A creative approach with the confidence to bring new ideas
- The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- A commercial understanding of how marketing can contribute to business growth
- The ability to monitor performance and report on progress
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to get involved

This isn’t a role where you’ll simply be handed a list of tasks.
We want someone who will take ownership of their marketing activity, bring new ideas and help us improve the way we promote the business and our sister companies.

As our marketing activity develops, there will be genuine opportunity for the role itself to grow and develop alongside the business.
You’ll work closely with the production manager, providing weekly updates on marketing activity and progress, with regular management catch-ups throughout the month and additional meetings when you require them.
You won’t be managing a team, this is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for delivering the marketing activity yourself and making a visible contribution to the business.
The Package:
- Location: Folkestone
- Working pattern: Office-based, Monday–Friday
- Salary: £30,000–£32,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience
- Company pension contribution
