Marketing Executive, Gateshead

Vertu Motors plc. was formed in late 2006 and are now the UK's 4th largest motor retailer with over 190 dealerships across the length and breadth of the UK from Dunfermline to Exeter.

We are looking for a Marketing Executive within our Retail Marketing team on a fixed term contract for 6 months. You will also be working closely with the Advertising team, our in-house creative production teams and CRM team with the aim to deliver stand-out creative and communications at a national and regional level for our Vertu dealerships.

Within this role, you will work with a range of well-known automotive manufacturers. You will coordinate projects and briefs from beginning to end, ensuring campaigns align with the manufacturers and divisional project activities.

You will also provide high-quality marketing assets and work on campaigns to drive customer leads. A creative eye and attention to detail are key.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating briefs which come into the Marcomms team, from entry to end result
  • Creating marketing assets for all manufacturers, covering New, Used, Aftersales, Commercial and Motability sectors
  • Work closely with the Retail Marketing team to deliver their divisional and local marketing activity
  • Create assets which cover a variety of platforms, including social media, websites, press ads, digital and display advertising, signage and point-of-sale.
  • Update Quarterly offers and web assets with changes to Manufacturer pricing during the year
  • Work on delivering events across the group, both divisionally and locally
  • Manufacturer Ambassador for the brands we represent
  • Keeping offer and franchise pages of our website up to date: find-a-dealer, new car offers, content
  • Ensure all activity is legally and brand (franchise and Vertu) compliant and complies with FCA obligations
  • To develop excellent working relationships with other marketing/team members including the retail team, in-house design, data, social and digital marketing teams
  • To develop a good understanding of the market, competitors, and consumers and to use this to improve the marketing activity continually
