Marketing Executive - JLR
Lithia UK (Hybrid - travel to Head Office in Annesley and Dealerships)
Salary: £28,000 with pension, life assurance, 33 days holiday (including bank holidays), exclusive company discounts on used car purchases, leasing deals, and aftersales services
About the Role
As a Marketing Executive, you will implement all sales and aftersales marketing campaigns, supporting marketing activities for the group and OEM to constantly improve enquiry levels in line with divisional strategy. You will update digital marketing content on both the group website and OEM retailer website, assist local social media champions in driving content, and support marketing preference opt-ins and data capture improvements. Additionally, you will measure all marketing campaigns and share results with key stakeholders, ensuring all dealerships adhere to GDPR legislation, and assist in the creation of annual marketing plans.
You will develop relationships with all third-party agencies and OEM marketing teams, working to improve existing customer engagement and conquest customer activity across all marketing channels for the business. Furthermore, you will assist the Brand Manager, Divisional Marketing Manager, and Divisional Marketing Director with all other marketing activities as needed, ensuring cohesive and effective marketing strategies throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Taking full ownership of maintaining the offer and content sections of the website, ensuring information is always accurate, relevant, and reflective of business priorities.
- Building strong communication channels with dealer operations and central teams, including digital, PR, content, social, and customer retention, to ensure seamless collaboration and joined-up campaign delivery.
- Leading briefing meetings with in-house marketing teams and completing high-quality briefing documents, ensuring that requirements and deadlines are clear, realistic, and understood by all parties.
- Supporting senior leaders to deliver campaigns that align with group and national messages, and playing an active role in operational dealer meetings to ensure campaigns are effectively rolled out.
- Using insights and findings from market research and performance analysis to shape campaign messages, ensuring sales propositions remain competitive and customer-focused.
- Implementing franchise marketing plans that meet manufacturer standards, while carefully managing budgets and ensuring spend is aligned to agreed targets.

Requirements
- Previous experience in retail marketing or within a similarly fast-paced industry, with a strong understanding of how to deliver results through campaigns.
- Strong communication skills, with confidence in engaging a wide range of stakeholders and the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams.
- A solid understanding of the digital marketing landscape, combined with the curiosity and willingness to learn more.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of automotive retail would be an advantage, but a passion for marketing and a customer-first approach are essential.
- Experience delivering multi-channel campaigns and managing budgets would be highly desirable.
